I’m not your average insurance broker.
In the past insurance brokers have typically been male, in their 50’s and working for one insurance company. I’m defying typical… I’m a mum of two girls, I’m in my 20’s (be it late 20’s) and I’m completely independent working with 11 different insurance companies. I fell in to insurance straight out of school and that’s where I have been for the past 10 years.
Since getting married, buying a house and starting a family (don’t be fooled it wasn’t actually in that traditional order) I realised how important insurance protection is and how there are many times in our lives we can come to rely on it.
My true passion for what I do has grown immensely over the years… Seeing how insurance cover can make such a huge difference in a time of need. Imagine being diagnosed with cancer going through a couple of months of chemo treatment… Taking away the extra stress of finance with a comprehensive trauma insurance policy can make a huge difference and allow someone time off work, to pay of any private treatment they may wish to have.
My passion has become helping people protect what is important to them. I do this by getting rid of the hard to understand insurance lingo, I’ve ditched the suit and corporate look and instead of a high flyers office I am happy to come and chat to you in your lounge over a cuppa. The relaxed feel allows clients to truly open up and understand insurance and the cover they are needing.
